Eleonora, Joanna, Gemma and Telma have known each other since 2005 when they started the Degree Course at The Circus Space in London.
Coming from different backgrounds like contemporary dance, gymnastics and circus they have been sharing the same passion to research the quality of movement between the body and the circus apparatus.
They have worked together in 4 main shows at The Circus Space, A fly in the soup, directed by Mick Barnfather in 2006, Sequins and Sawdust, directed by Jon Beedel and Mitch Mitchelson in 2007, and the solo devised performances, Gratuitous Acts of Circus, directed by Jean Paul Zaccarini in 2007 and ON the BRINK in 2008.
Recently they finally decided to create the company ¨NU comp.¨, which is born from the devotion to create new performing pieces defying the physical, aesthetic and imaginative possibilities of movement and circus.
